I highly doubt anyone outside of Wisconsin's 1st District had a clue who he was until he released this pure brilliance. When Ryan went public with his budget resolution, left wing radicals wantonly attacked it from every angle to no avail. He stood strong in his plan and it started to take flight. His resolution includes a $6.8 TRILLION cut(yes, trillion), reduces government spending to less than 20 percent of the overall economy and reduces our debt almost 4.5 trillion dollars among other things.
As I surfed through his site, I came across a quote of his that jumped off of the screen. All I can say about this man is that he is brilliant and resilient. Wow, that actually rhymed.....
"We cannot accept an approach that starts from the premise that ever-higher levels of spending and taxes represent America’s new normal. We have an obligation to fulfill the mission of health and retirement security for current retirees and future generations. We have a historic commitment to limited government and free enterprise. And we have a duty to leave the next generation with a more prosperous nation than the one we inherited."I've yet to hear him speak but I'm sure he's capable. Obviously, what I'm implying in this post is that if two years from now, Ryan were to test the Presidency waters, I would more than approve. I don't think that will actually happen but what I do think will happen would be far better for our shaken country.
So now I leave you with one ever-important, ever-hopeful sentence: Ginrich and Ryan in 2012.
